TARTUFFE
by Moliere - Mary Boekman, Director
April 6th – April 11th 1981
An opulent set and costumes for the cast of “Tartuffe”. Wardrobe by Beverley Wright, Lydia Groenbaek, Norma Simpson and Heather Andrews; Set Design by Alan Stevenson; Set Construction by Darcy Harrison and Gavin McLaggan
This was the first production in the ‘old’ Cue with the padded seats (originally from the former Inglewood Presbyterian Church) arranged in their new tiered positions. This reduced the seating capacity of the theatre from 77 down to 60 but it was hoped that performance seasons would be extended from their normal week schedule to compensate for this.
