“Habeus Corpus” – Mary Gyde as Mrs Wicksteed and David Mead as Dr Wicksteed. A play about the pleasures of the flesh, a farcical show about the permissiveness of modern society!

“It’s not a subtle comedy. Characters called Canon Throbbing, Lady Rumpers and Sir Percy Shorter indicate that. However its tangled skeins of wedded or unwedded blitz, double takes plus double entendres, and the funny forlorn frailties of the flesh, keep it an enjoyable and lively stage work.”
