“Dinner with Gilbert & Sullivan” involved a cast of 25 – Linda Dombroski, Carol Shepherd, Judy & Jim Williamson, Ann Rose, David Ertel, Margaret Austin, Pauline Hitchcock, Pat Bower, Barbara Hunt, Barry Boekman, Alma Clague, Lil Hair,Olga Bailey, Teresa Dombroski, Bill Marsh, Alistair Nelson, Jacqui & Charles Bisley, Betty Wisnewski, Vida Hansen, Joan Cheyne, Ray Morris and Ross Wisnewski
This was the first production in the Inglewood Town Hall since its refurbishment. The show was preceded by cocktails and dinner and was the Society’s first “Restaurant Theatre.”
The Menu:
Apricot Chicken; Beef and Tomato Hot Potch; Meat Balls and Gravy; Chicken; Corned Beef; Roast Pork; Pickled Pork; Deep Fried Fish Pieces – Tartare Sauce; Marinated Tahitian Fish; Mashed Potatoes; Green Peas; Kumara Casserole; Salad Selection and Garnishes – followed by Trifle Supreme; Fruit Salad; and Biscotten Torte. Ticket price - $14.00 per person.
