With a French menu, candlelit tables, umbrellas, swastikas on the walls, waiters complete with berets and waistcoats, the scene was certainly set for the evening’s entertainment. There are many memorable scenes in “’Allo ‘Allo”. Delightfully, untuneful cabaret acts, violin playing, movie watching – even a line up of Hitler impersonaters. Combined with the humour of the script and the personalities of the characters, the result is a lot of fun.
