Secretary, committee member, actress, born optimist and “Blithe Spirit” through the Society’s most difficult years. Our first Life Membership, awarded for her acting ability, efficiency, sense of humour, generosity and devotion to drama. Life Membership awarded for brilliant foresight, sound planning, a weird sense of humour, hard work and devotion to drama in the widest sense, which amounts to sheer genius.YVONNE BROWN - now deceased
President and committee member from the beginning, actress and director of 15 plays between 1958 and 1984. Her enthusiasm and energy and dedication to the theatre’s success earned her a Life Membership in 1976.PETER CRAMER
Pioneered sound effects in the days when much ingenuity and skill was required. A staunch supporter whose invaluable work well warranted his Life Membership in March 1979 during ‘The Bedsitting Room’ on the 4th birthday of “The Cue”.HEATHER HARRISON
Past President and an innovative director and talented actress. Her Life Membership was awarded in 1986 in recognition of her flair in choosing and directing plays of superb quality which are never forgotten for their impact.DEREK TREEBY
Inducted as a Life Member to the Society in 1997. Derek has a wealth of knowledge and experience in theatre, both with the Cue and other theatres within Taranaki. He is a past president and has directed 17 plays at the Cue.MARY GYDE
Mary had been a member of the Inglewood Dramatic Society for 40 years when she was recommended for induction as a Life Member in 1997. Mary has been a past President (see 1975 Booklet President’s Note), has played many roles on stage, assisted backstage and front of house as well as being in charge of the Junior Drama group for many years and heading the Wardrobe department.DAVID ERTEL
Past President, actor in excess of 25 productions, director of seven plays including a double season of the successful “Social Climbers” and a major influence and participant in creating the ‘new” Cue. A true enthusiast of exceptional theatre whether on or off the stage he was made a Life Member in 2000.TOM BLUNDELL - now deceased
Past President, longtime committee member, actor in over 21 plays and whose construction skills have been essential to many outstanding sets. Tom was also a vital part of the subcommittee who laboured long and hard to demolish the “old” and build the “new” Cue. He was made a Life Member in 2001.MARGARET STEVENSON
Margaret was presented her Life Membership to Cue in May 2002. An immensely talented artist, Margaret’s imagination and skill has given many productions costumes, scenery/sets and props which were inspirational.TERRY DOMBROSKI
Terry was awarded his Life Membership at the 50th Jubilee celebrations of the Inglewood Dramatic Society (Cue Theatre) on September 2nd 2006. His contribution to theatre - on stage initially - have been most notable with his technical prowess with lighting. His imagination, skill and eye for colour have brought magic to many a Cue production.
